X-CYTATION II
New Generation Micro-Tig Welding System
Now an even more exciting micro-tig welding system, the X-CYTATION II has 5 new features, making it the easiest to operate and most efficient micro-tig welding system available!
We have redesigned the X-CYTATION to make your micro-tig welding task simple, yet with greater flexibility while increasing the level of accuracy and applications.

The principals of welding with very low heat are maintained with the X-CYTATION II. The following will illustrate the working process and operation of the X-CYTATION II. A free demo-cd is available for your reveiw. Please call 1-866-PRO-TOOL ( 1-866-776-8665 ) or you can contact us via e-mail request. Greater precision welding capabilities and easy-to-use
The new generation X-CYTATION II Surpassing laser welding systems
The system, utilizes a grounding cable, ( work cord ) resistance welding cable with a tugsten tools with holder, a tig torch and foot pedal for the cycle process start. The X-CYTATION uses a sheilded gas ( Argon ) for the tig cycle.

Our example of a repaired area is that of a plastic injection mold parting line. Figure 1

The first process of the weld cycle is to tack weld the material ( wire, ribbon or porous metal ) at the edges of the damaged area as shown in figure 2. Both edges as well as the ends have wire tacked via the resistance weld process.
Figure 3 shows a completed resistance weld process.

A simple flip of a switch puts the X-CYTATION into the tig weld mode. By depressing the foot switch, the tig weld cycle produces one individual pulse, thus giving on puddle. By repeating this process and advancing the tig torch, the damaged area will be repaired with precision and without any damaging heat.

Operation and Functions of the X-CYTATION II
The two functions of resistance welding and high-precision TIG welding are integrated into one; five additional functions are introduced. This welder can appropriately support various welding conditions. The minimum current for the TIG welding has been reduced to 2A. By applying the ultra precision mode (FINE mode), high precision, fine welding is realized. The easy-to-use characteristics and performance surpass  laser welding and support a wide range of applications.
Ultra precision mode

By selecting the FINE mode, makes it possible to weld even a fine core pin (diameter 0.2), which was too small for an ordinary welder.

Weld Navigation

Appropriate current and welding time will automatically be set and displayed by setting the welding target area, welding material, and size.

Data memory mode

With the SAVE mode, data for welding conditions fixed by an operator can be stored and read out again the next time

Continuous TIG mode

When a large area is welded, the Continuous TIG mode provides smoother welding faster than laser welding. (Interval time: 0.1 sec - 2..0 sec)

Lead arc

By emitting a minute arc (2A) to the welding target point in advance, the target portion can be welded more precisely.
